Love Letter to London


I consider London to be my home city.  It’s the city that I have spent most time in and gone through various stages of my life in. I went to uni there, fell in love for the first time and met a bunch of incredible people who I now consider to be friends for life (let’s hope).

Many people visit London and I had a privilege to share some tips of my London with some that are visiting the town for the very first time. I also showed my quiet London to my dear friend and partner in September which was a truly amazing weekend spent with the city that I planted my roots in.

Here are my recommendations and the best bits of my London:

Best place for Coffee

Day Trips

  • Greenwich area, including the market, Town, Cutty Sark, uni walk through, Cutty Sark Pub, Planetarium Show - standing in the meridian line
  •  Shoreditch: including bricklane, Cafe 1001, Lebanese place


  • Secret Cinema – of course
  • Book of Mormons Show
  • Punch Drunk
  • Parkholme Supper Club 

Best Cinema:

  • Central Picture House Central – any of them are just amazing


  • Psycle – i swear by it… simply the best
  • Fierce Grace – hot yoga studio
  • Park Run – great way to plug 5k every week
  • Olympic Park Swimming Pool
  • London Fields Lido
