Love Letter to LIETUVA

map two

I arrived to Dublin in 2015 September. It was a place where I’ve been only once, for a day. For an interview. I have never met anyone from Dublin. Ireland yes, but not Dublin. Out of my circle of friends, only maybe two have been to Dublin. It was quite a mystery of a location, but nevertheless, something within me was craving for a change and it was time for it.

Dublin became my base location for the past two years. There are few things that Dublin has to offer that I haven’t come across in another city:

  • You can really breathe here. That’s the first thing that I noticed when I landed in Dublin. The air is fresh. When you breathe it, you could potentially even get a little high.
  • Access to mama nature is so very close. I live 15 mins bike ride away from the beach. I really should take more advantage of my location, it’s just the cold gets into my bones sometimes. 40 mins on train, there is one of most beautiful cliff walks available in town – Bray to Greystones. Must do for everyone. Thicknock Forest is also very close by as is Sugar Loaf hill.
  • Everyone knows that Irish people are super friendly. It’s just in their blood. I have met some incredible people here in Dublin. Most of my friends have been foreigners though. Truly blessed to have met them.

Below is my list of the best bits in Dublin that I like:
